Today I was out in the yard, testing my new AW 16340 batteries I got from lighthound.com with my 1.9W 445 laser, and I found an old ping pong ball. I put it under the beam, and there was a lot of smoke, and then it burst on fire! Man that thing was an inferno, the ball was spinning rapidly and shooting out random jets of flame! I never knew that ping pong balls were so flammable!!! :D

Oooh you've learned the most entertaining thing to do in a game of ping pong-- :eg:

Well, not so much with lasers but... in other ways when you're drunk

Ping pong balls are made of nitrocellulose. It the same stuff as flash paper and it will burn like crazy.

Yes ping pong balls burn very quickly and easily. Anyway you can do a good fun with this ping pong ball.i like your idea.

If you fill a ping pong ball with cut up bits of other ping pong balls and wrap it in aluminum
foil, leaving a small opening at the top; you can light the exposed part and create a smoke
bomb, granted the smoke doesn't catch a light, then you just have a small ball shooting out a flame.

In order to not have flame out of your smoke device you need to cool the smoke before it hits the air, a second dead air chamber that it has to pass through before hitting the air should do the job ;)

I'm sure it's not a safe thing to do, but apparantly, you can make a smoke bomb with a tuna can full of break fluid and a chlorine pool tablet.

I wouldn't stand around to breathe the smoke though...just sayin.
