Hello again everyone! I am fairly new to the whole laser-community. I will soon purchase a 532nm green 100wM laser, and while I have done lots of research, I
need some advice.

Here's the laser I'm thinking of getting

Lazerer Mini 532nm 100mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer
(Yeah yeah, I know. Lazerer is the cause of all evil in the universe.)

LZMN - Mini 532nm 100mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer

Here's the goggles I'm thinking of getting:

Eagle Pair® 190-540nm Standard Laser Safety Goggles

Eagle Pair® 190-540nm Standard Laser Safety Goggles

Here's what worries me, while the laser is (Barely) within the wavelength parameter, the description says: "They are suitable for use with 405nm violet, 445nm blue, and 532nm DPSS green lasers that DO NOT produce significant amounts of unfiltered 1064nm infrared light." And I do not know if my laser is a DPSS, or if it produces large amounts of IR.

Anyway, please give distinctive answers. Thanks! :)

Please fill out your profile to show your location or at least your country, you are apparently outside the US since you link to the SL international site, not their US site. Those safety goggles are good but not for IR. That laser is DPSS and is not IR filtered, however I am not sure an 80 - 100mW 532 will put out enough IR to be a danger unless you get a hit to the eye. Just be careful and your probably OK.

So you have done months of research. According to your other thread you already know which goggles you are getting(which im assuming is why you have deleted it as it would completely contradict this thread now).

But yet somehow don't even know what a DPSS laser is and if you are purchasing one? Seriously?

All anyone can assume by these actions is you have done no or very little research and want to be spoon fed. So im with Rayjay and will echo his response to your now deleted post:
