So I ordered two lasers from Lazerer.com way back on January 9th, (59 days ago) and it finally shipped from Lazerer on Feb 25th. which was ridiculous in my opinion. It took Lazerer.com 48 days just to ship out my laser. Anyways, so I'm becoming very impatient and my laser has been at customs for eight days now. Here is my tracking info:

Does it look like customs have confiscated my laser? Or is this the usual wait time. I am a very patient person, but it's going away fast. Thanks in advance for any help givin!

If customs has your laser, generally you'd receive a customs letter indicating that your laser/ package has been seized for further inspection. Since you didn't receive this my educated guess is that your laser package hasn't been released yet to the outgoing mail.

Ok so my laser finally made it through customs and is almost here. About two towns away, should receive it by Monday. So just a heads up to anybody reading this, customs may take up to 10 days to release your package. No worries.

FYI, ISC stands for "International Sorting Facility"
It has nothing to do with customs.
If your package is there, it is well past customs, and is being sorted by region for delivery.
It's kinda odd your package was at ISC for ten days, but I'm glad to see it's finally gone through.

Paying the extra 25$ for extra fast shipping is well worth it. I got my laser within a week of ordering it from lazerer.

Yes it's an International Sorting Facility ran by the USPS, but that is where Customs has it's Agents stationed.

Rly? I thought customs checked parcels as they came across borders? (i.e.. airports, harbors, etc)

You may have noticed there are 5 ISC's in the Country [New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco]. The Plane lands and all Cargo goes directly to the ISC for sorting, to which CBP Agents pick away at the Parcels, then the ISC forwards them to Regional Sort Centers.

Just like an International Airport, you land at the Airport from a Foreign location going through the International Section and must pass through CBP in order to proceed any further.
