The internal diameter of the head. Thought i'd made that clear in my earlier posts.
Basically, the spot you would stick a heatsink if you were converting it into a laser. In my school the thickest Aluminium rods they have available are of 25mm diameter, so it'd be difficult for me to make a heatsink to fit a space wider than that.
i ordered one of these too!
i got it just because it looked kickass
i never tried building a laser from a kit, but i have the DX 200mw dilla
maybe just gut it and transfer hosts?
still makes for an awesome flashlight!
ill post back with the diameter when it gets here (2-3 weeks)
i got mine last thursday!!!
just in time for camping trip too! ^^
ill take some pics if i have time
(ill be away for a 1 week trip to florida!)
short description:
LOOKS EPIC!!
showed it to a friend and he said that he would have gladly have paid 20-$30 for it!
profit??
the build feels extremely heavy and solid
i dont know if this was mentioned on the site, but it has THREE lighting options
high power
low power
STROBE LIGHT!!!!
i love the strobe light feature!
im gunna bring this to all future parties
this is a MUST GET flashlight!
even if this is a laser forum, this flashlight is a definite KEEPER!
I have one, from Priceangles.
It takes a P60 dropin and I have replaced the stock one with a red single mode drop-in I had lying around.
It looks pretty cool, but will be even better with a 600lm red LED and some optics to give a narrow beam.
