i have the 500mw CNI laser and when i took out the battery i forgot to look at what way it came out and now i cant put the battery back in cause im worried id put it in backwards and fry the laser.... what way does the battery go in this laser? CNI site does not say lol,

Yes, FlutterPie is correct. It is case + . The negative side of the battery is inserted first. One nice way that I recently found to ensure that the battery is not inserted wrong is to use a label maker, and put a - or + on the inside of the battery "barrel".

Yeah, the IR pump diode is case positive,
so theoretically, the driver is continuous
positive, so the negative end goes towards
the front where the driver is and the
positive toward the back to make contact
with the host body.

This is why i like the laserbtb hosts, on al ltheir stickers its marked what kind of battery and what way they go in, no way to do it wrong even if you forget the laser a long time you take it out and all info is there.
