Here's the clamp (up to 3.8cm): LINK

Here's 2 tripods: LINK1 LINK2

Not the best quality or look, but it gets the job done very well.

Thanks for the share, I think I've got the second tripod pictured with the top clamp and the legs have bent and the metal has dented, For what they are I don't think i'd buy them again. I'll go for those other ones.

I would like to bump this up for anyone looking for a good tripod!

Survival Lasers unfortunately dosen't sell anymore of their tripods but these are not only cheap, but looks pretty stylish :D

maybe.. clamp style mic stand/holder??

about lasers w/ threaded tri-pod holes IMHO I would be super careful with most of these especially the JETLASERS PL-Es- TOO SHALLOW_ barely a full rotation-
I would ONLY move a set up like this with BOTH hands- no way like we can handle a tripod with small/medium cameras-- I see some dented/busted lasers happening to those who are not careful- I have posted this many times in JL threads--hak

Totally right. I hope people pay attention to what you've said. I own a number of well loved Jetlasers. But, I also never screw my tripods into the holes provided.
I wouldn't trust the one or two threads to hold a big, valuable laser. Clamps only.

I went ahead and bought the metallic tripod from school and it is being shipped right now.

The clamp, I realized after buying has 11-15 days processing time, so won't be having a complete tripod for awhile it seems :D

I have a few of those and they are good. The clamp is showing up as sold out, though.

Hap, sorry you sold me 2 of those a while ago but i'm happy for me lol Just like you said they are great, i've been bending those snake legs at all kinds of weird angles and they have yet to break:shhh: The only time I find them complete is when one is in a kit with the laser, glasses, batteries etc. Shame they are hard to get.
