Cats VS Lasers

I was wondering what a laser really does to a cat. I have a Green Violet and red, all 5mW and the cat is only attracted to the green. The red it really doesn't care but the violet it ran from(or as much as a cat can run) so how does the wavelength of a laser pointer effect the cats response to it.

I've seen inconsistent reports so far. My cat either doesn't care about or can't see 532nm (green), 780nm (NIR), or 405nm (NUV). Color blindness does run in felines though so remember that. My cat loves to chase 593.5nm (gold), 632.8nm (orange/red), and 658nm (red) though.

Also remember that because of the tepetum lucidum (reflective eyes) they can't see fine detail clearly like we can, pin point and fine lines are blurry to them.

Well these are cats I see in my neighborhood. Probly inbred and what not.

My housemates cats are terrified of my 593.5 pointer. My cats love red and green pointers and don't care about violet ones.

My cats like all of the colors.
Just depends on what mood they are in that day.
Some days they love 532, other days they don't bother it and love 445.
Idk. lol
