Smart of them, quite dry I'd imagine from the drought still, so no embers burnin down the town this time. Hopefully all aircraft get the message, I wouldn't want to be the pilot that happens to stray into the laser zone... :p

Haha that would be quite bad having a ton of light shone your way, while people below are partying :D

They should do this here in Florida as well since we have many endangered birds nesting now. Besides you can do a lot more with the lasers. But we need to halt all flights at sun down to 11pm.

I was very confused for a second, wondering why you'd only allow like 10 minutes for a fireworks show (sunset to 11pm) but I forgot about the difference in latitude between you and I. What time does the sun set there in Florida?

About 8:49 pm +-. But you want it good and dark for the laser show. So warm up those lasers at 9:45pm and light up the sky at 10
