Default Build suggestions for broken 303 host?

What would be the best diode to go in this host with a decent - continous cycle?

Whoa that is a huge picture. Can you reduce it's size somehow? But to answer your question I would personally put in any 1-1.5 watt laser diode at most but I'm still relatively new so yeah.
Logically speaking.
