A 445 might be better since you get 9mm dioides that do 3 watts. I killed like 12+ bugs

one time i burned a spider and didnt cut the web it was hanging there for days.

1 watt should be more than enough to fry bugs especially with them being targeted one at a time.

The 405nm diodes are single mode with outstanding divergence compared with the 445s.

Also a 445 of 3-7 watts has more potential for causing "collateral damage" while it fries bugs.

Though I suppose you could make the argument that the 405s longer range is also a risk for "collateral damage".
