I bought the Energizer Ultimate Lithiums and they had an initial charge of 1.7v ea. I ran them in my Wicked Core(I know its weak) for over a month and they still have 1.5v left.

I think LARRYDFW sells them. There is also another Member that sells them too. Try the SEARCH button. rob

Last I heard he said he was out. I got mine from amazon, this seller:
Amazon.com: Sanyo Eneloop AAA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries (4 Pack): Electronics

When I ordered them they were on sale for $5.50, though they're not now. Anyway, I live in NC, once I ordered it, I had them in less than 72 hours later. :)
So that's where I suggest he buys it, unless that other user has some more in-stock again. Though I can't comment on him as Ive never done business with him.

Thanks,

Regular everready or duracell alkalines will work best.
For rechargeables use a pair of the best / highest mAhr NIMH cells you can find (not cheap radio shack ones).
Don't use a lithium 10440 cell and spacer unless you want your pointer to have a very short life. The 3.7V 10440 cell will exceed the voltage that the laser was for by over 23%,.NOT GOOD.

I use both the Sanyo Superlattice Alloy EVO 1000mAh and the Sanyo Eneloops and they perform great.
