He sold all of his stock to Bambie on eBay (who has subsequently been kicked off of eBay I think)

Scrap gold, to put your own dies on, luck of the draw getting a working diode? (PM coming re GB)
The guy was heruursciences but apparently he sold his stock as Dave said. Bambi has been involved in trouble on eBay. I'd avoid, it's not worth the hassle dealing with unknowns like them - buy working. It may cost more but you'll benefit in the long run.

The amount of gold in the diodes is not worth the effort to retrieve it (gold layer is VERY thin)
I bought several of the diode bags when he was originally selling them and the first bags were great, lots of good diodes - but the last few were terrible, almost none met the original company spec sheets for the diodes.
I would not recommend buying them anymore.
