I'm planning a TOS Phaser for my first real build. My dad is in his 60s and is a HUGE Trek fan. He has always wanted a "real" Phaser so I want to give him one made from a Wand.

However, I want my own, thought I'd just make another TOS.

IDK, 300mw of 532 would be pretty bright. And you don't have to worry about a big heat sink with a lower power build. 445 would still be cool though.


those 9mm 3 watt dioides don't draw alot of heat when you use them under a watt.

800mw would still be bright enough and it would be neat to have a blueish output since most phasers seen in ToS are blue


I just don't like high brightness 532 it attracts too much attention imo.

Well a Wand Phaser is on the way to me in the mail.

I also see DTR has NUBM06s again.
