I'm amazed by that as well. But it is often tricky if you for example compare how you see under light bulb and day light and take a photo of these. Basically you see not as much difference by eye compared to photos taken. That's why white balancing is needed in cameras.
Or take for example some optical ilusions... Brains are awesome. ;)

FYI... That pic is 2,709 × 2,048 pixels
Try to keep Pictures at 600 X 800 pixels...
That pic is 3 screens wide and I can't see it all
on one screen.
Not all LPF members have 60" monitors. ;)

Thanks for letting me know, Jerry. I selected different version. Sorry for that. I just see everything too large on mobile right now so I did not realized that when posting. :D

Edit: It would be usefull to allow definition of size in IMG tag IMO.

No Problem... I just resize all my pics to 600 X 800
pixels before posting them.

Yes, I do as well. However I use 1080 (I know, I just break the rule by some extra pixels), but I think lower resolution is just too low (for my artworks especially) to show enough details. I also add higher resolution under click for extra details, but some should be shown in thread post directly IMO.

These above are from wiki, so not mine, but there are selections of resolution versions, so no problem. ;)
