Hello everyone,

How are we all? :)

my question is, does any other company make lasers with that strobe mode that
Wicked Lasers have?

Yes I have Search Forum/Google i don't "strobe" is the wordthe use for that effect

main reason I want it is because it makes great beam effects when using a smoke/fog machine!

Thanks For Your Help!

Jake

WL is the only company I know that sells lasers with a a strobe mode. You can build a laser with a driver that has a strobe mode. The modes are usually High-->Low-->Strobe.

A member here sells a driver that has modes. I just forgot who he is and if he still sells them. I think it's Lazeerer but I'm not sure.

yeah that what i thought :(

i'm not good with building my lasers yet, i brought i kit from survival lasers (no soldering needed) i thought was a good start on learning about the components
and about what is what and were it needs to go and also what it does :)

I can't wait to build it :)

The only skill required is soldering. I always wanted to build one but money is a real problem. :(

ive got a few lasers with stobe modes running off amc-7135 drivers that where meant for LED's. They work great for case isolated and case positive diodes with a low Vf so they cant run 445 and 405nm very well because of there high Vf.

because the amc drivers are negative regulators and case positive, i should be able to strobe a 532nm DPSS system which is on my bucket list :D

Greetings,

If you want a kit that only requires assembly and no soldering you should check Rick Trent's builds. He has by far the best 445nm lasers with 4 mode drivers, high, medium, low and strobe and running over 3w !! He has them going for around $200 and will be 3w or more.
No one else that builds can come close to the quality and power for the price he is selling them for.

I have 2 with 1 running about 3.2w and the other is just a tad over 3.5w

Check him out,

Moe

Np ;)

I mean I do love my 3.5W Rich Trent, but seeing the inner working next to lazeerer, DTR.. stuff, it´s not the same. But considering the very low price / power, I think it´s work to give these kits a try.

I was gonna try a 1watt 445 pl-e code switch...it has pulse ;)

Also i have built an 3W+ ehgemus host once with a mode driver. Check it out in my signature.
