Funny how you are suddenly having "problems" with everything... Methinks this is suspicious.

As soon as you posted that it was 1 watt with charged batteries is when you threw your chance here down the drain.

IR diodes have a low Vf, generally <2v and to get one watt of 532 you would need at least 4W pump (judging by outputs it probably 4W with less-than-perfect alignment), so it's probably running ~5A. So I'm assuming it uses a buck driver because if it was linear that would be a crapload of heat and too much amperage to draw from the battery.

But either way buck or linear, ir diodes Vf is a good deal lower than the voltage of a fully discharged li-ion so it would still be just as powerful on batteries that aren't fully charged. This is one of the reasons lasers use drivers. To keep a Constant Current over the discharge of the batteries.

^^^That's all true, but I have personally experienced gains from fully charged/better batteries with buck drivers, in both 445's and 532nm lasers.

Just not 30% gains....

Post a screenshot, it doesnt take long.

And stop making claims about other peoples products to give you an excuse for underspec lasers.

After everything that has ruined WL's rep like extremely underspec lasers, crap shipping times, faulty lasers and terrible customer service, oh yeh, not to mention exploding batteries that almost burn't down a LPF members house.

It will take a LOT of convincing to make us buy from you again. And convincing isn't all you have to do, you need to start offering quality products and stop the bogus claims.

Most powerful laser on earth? Your kidding me right? Ever heard of 200w Co2 tubes. And people have even made 65 watt 532nm lasers. And be more safety cautious, think about this. You have probably ruined 50 peoples eye sight since you don't enforce safety and not to mention all the damage that 100's of people have had done to their eyes. And Don't even try blaming it on the users. Agreed, some people are complete @ssholes and an example of that is Black saturday, someone deliberately lit a fire and it ended up being Australias worst bushfire killing hundreds of people, devouring houses and costing the government millions of dollars.

Now, im sorry for going on a rant but all your BS claims are really starting to annoy lots of people here and seeing the retarted people over at your forum really makes me cringe. They don't know crap about lasers and yet try to defend your brand.

Im probably asking too much of you's by just telling you's to make sure your lasers are on spec. It would be a miracle if you could improve in all the ways stated above.

Oh yeh, don't even think about blaming Jerry for an un-calibrated LPM. Thats low, even for wicked.

Cvvbcmvcvcvcvbcbcb or whatever his name is most likely falsified the results. Want to prove us wrong? Set up the laserbee and krypton (with charged batteries), turn it on, run for 5 min, end video, UL it to YT and post link. Until you provide some form of proof, we have no reason to trust or believe you.

Okay seriously, I was hoping I didn't have to say it, but Jarret has been acting more mature than flamers here. Not everybody in this thread, only the ones actively throwing insults and being rude.

Guys, chill for a minute. What exactly are you all screaming and yelling about? Their lasers being underspec or what? I'm missing the point of all the flaming here.

With all the hate thrown at him, he still said that this forum is a nice place and will continue to read and learn from here.
You all might want to stop and let that sink in.

As I said, I'm no fan of Wicked but this thread with all the hate and blame thrown around doesn't make me feel good about participating here.

@Eudaimonium... Agreed!

As for what all the hate is about, i don't think any hate should be directed at cbeebies as an individual, I think its more of what people think of WL in general here is being directed at him... And yeah he's learning from this forum, consider that a good thing maybe he can throw some sense onto the WL forum and stop people saying things like "I have heard the Krypton is more stable than Optotronics' RPL green" <- Because this forum isn't aimed at a specific company, folk here know what they're talking about and its obvious people are going to rage when seeing tripe like this on their forum... i think people given WL's reputation assume this guy should automatically have the same kind of reputation and will never have anything bad to say about what's well known as a bad company.

I really don't know what all the fuss is about anyway, if people really want a 1W 532nm, just buy one from jetlasers! for a better price, faster shipping, better build quality, better customer service ect.

http://laserpointerforums.com/f52/je...eak-58209.html

At least they are honest about their lasers, if their 600's peak at over 1.2W they could also claim a 1W just like WL have done.

Default Re: That little kid hiding results?

Someone that is a member on the WL Forum should perhaps
ask for a Screen Shot of the EagleEye Graph and/or (better)
a Video of the Laser and Graphing on the Computer screen
so that there is no question of which Laser was used and
no question of the output power claimed...

It is the only way to prove the claimed results...
I will believe when I see....

After all cv------/Jarrett. B does like to make a lot of Videos...
