Check again.
It is a type of search engine.
Hundreds if not thousands of listing will show up if you go through there.
Mostly for chinese or at least Asian marketplaces.

It is the chinese equivalent of ebay or amazon. Other such sites include Taobao (another ebay-like site)

There are 3 levels of lasers, and where to get them.

Crap = stick with eBay for cheap pens.
Cheap = O-Like, Lazerer.
Decent = Laserglow, CNI, Optotronics, Jet Lasers.

The High level is usually more than the average laser enthusiast wants to spend.

Any other place and you take a gamble which 9/10 you will lose. Stick with the ones listed, and forget the rest.

Wow I just went on Lazerer and seen that beautiful "Rifle 1.2W" blue laser... The host is as beautiful as the arctic... When you say it's cheap, are you talking about the price, or the average quality? (or both?) Please give some more details :)

Which is the best one between the Rifle 1.2W Blue (Lazerer) and the PL-E 445nm 447nm blue laser series by Jetlasers? I really like both of them.

There's two companies I've come across on alibaba, BOBlaser (ungodly expensive, not so good as explained below), and Lasever (Decent).
Ordering a 1W greenie from them once I get a bit of cash

Both.

BOBlaser (ungodly expensive, probably good),

BOBlaser, and Warnlaser are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to lasers. Never heard of Lasever.

Well I'll quick edit boblaser into crap

Lasever is where I got my 473 (CNI resale I think, still cheaper than their 473 PGL-III-C) and where another member got a few green labbies from IIRC. I didn't hear a complaint about them yet.

Stay far away from Boblasers... overpriced crap.

I bought a "400mW boblaser" off of a guy on here, in part just to see what's inside.

The laser was ~100mW. Fortunately I only spent ~$60 on it, but I did feel bad for the guy who got it originally... he got seriously ripped off.

Warnlasers is basically a clone/same thing.

Lasever I thought you actually got some stuff from no? The 473nm iirc.

Edit: NM... you just posted again.

Seems that the PL-E 445nm 447nm blue laser series (Jetlasers) would be a good choice if I want a good quality blue laser with that kind of host then, right? :)

Is there any equivalent in the 2W range (with same host)?

So far 2W handhelds are limited to the ones we build. It costs a lot more to create a 2W than a 1W, and I dont think they want to spend the extra money.

Thank you for the information. I'm gonna go for the JetLaser with the metal-looking host then (maybe my next laser will be bought from a seller on the forum).

Hmm last question (and probably the most important one): Will the safety googles from DragonLasers (suitable for a Spartan 1W) will be safe enough to use for the 1.5W Blue JetLaser?

Maybe those 3 levels could be called 1. Crap 2. Cheap 3. Ridiculously overpriced

Some of these lasers like the portable ones at Laserglow look to be housed in relatively cheap looking hosts, but still cost a small fortune. Like $439 for a 200mW green or 200mW blue. I'd expect to pay that much if it was 1992. But lasers are much less expensive to manufacture across the board now that its 20 years later. I'd sincerely hope that the internal components are top notch!
