Advice needed for my "ideal" laser pointer

You might want to consider one of these AtlasNova APC 532nm green lasers. The APC ensures that the power remains 5mW, unlike many of those poorly regulated green modules. The 532nm wavelength is also about 50% brighter per mW than 515nm, and I'm not too convinced that Skylasers is actually ensuring that their output is 5mW or less without any feedback. There's not a whole lot of wiggle-room. The 515nm wavelength will be neat though.

Mmmm, never heard of that shop.

One thing that puts me off though is that extremely limited warranty: 60 days or 90 days. Seriously? :wtf:

The shipping fees at more than half the price of the pointer are a put off too.

Hehe, sorry, didn't mean to fire away your solution, that APC module seems interesting indeed, I am just shocked by the virtual lack of warranty and the high shipping for something that might be sent in a padded enveloppe (I think).

There really is alot to know and learn in the laser world, I like it!

Little update, ordered some Eneloop AAA batteries for the pointer, 2 days later they were delivered.

The pointer has started it's travel with Hong Kong Post 2 days ago, I have no clue at all what it's trip will be. Hopefully, it'll arrive very soon and safe and sound.
