Like the topic tells, .. wonderin what would be the aprox. output ?

Diode in aixiz module.

Pretty weird is that the module wont heat up much when running 20sec cycles.

To those who wondered ::: when adjusted to infinity, lase burns my arm in 1sec from 30cm

Strictly as a guess, id say 140-160mW. But ive only used a few 4x diodes and am not sure how they vary.

But that is the output range I have found at similar current. I wouldt go any higher though, they die quite easily if overdone :-/

well i've been thinking about staying at 182mA, just to not push the diode too much...

... but in my mind i still want to go to 200mA .. just to see what happens.

Anyway, if the diode dies ill buy a new one.

i just like to test things .. as almost everyone in here

Just to those electronic gurus here ..

How is the 'inrun' in these diodes ? i bet theres a difference when driving new diodes @ full than to drive step by step going to full power ?!?

My first died at 199mW approx 200+ ma, cant remember as I wasnt expecting it. They are similar in limitation to the 803t's, but have a higher quality beam.

I think you are pushing your diode too far. Igor said that the 4x should be run at <150mA. Anything higher and your diode wont last as long.
