We already had that discussion about that very site, selling all sorts of mislabeled and contradictory stuff.

Just don't bother with it, dude.

It's not a rarity to find that kind of trash, it's a rarity to find good working up-to-spec quality lasers.

My fault! I'm pretty new here.:(
Don't worry about it.

Look, this is the most powerful handheld laser ever produced, the Hercules:
http://www.laserglow.com/GHE

Next, never believe the labels on sites like DealExtreme, FocalPrice, DinoDirect, and similar, they do not manufacture the lasers and they do not control them, they just simply resell them from bulk cheap-dirt manufacturers.
200mW unit will most likely have 50% of declared power, with questionable stability and quality.

Sites like Optotronics Laser Products
Laserglow Technologies
NOVAlasers Home and
Green Laser,Laser Beam Optics,Laser Safety Glasses : Dragon Lasers
(you can tell by very high prices) are real deal, exeptional quality and on many wish-lists around here.

All other sites like the one you linked... nah.

Wait what? The Hercules peaks at 850mw. The Arctic peaks at 1W.
First, I was talking about green lasers, DPSS system,
Second, not one Arctic has ever been actually shipped, so not one has ever even been produced, WL is most likely still sorting out their troubles before actually producing and sending their Arctic lasers, which are questionable, since they clain the currrent draw of 1A, from 1x 18650 battery - boost covnerter driver needed which means the diode will get maybe ... 800mA of current.
Then take losses at optics and stuff, and you will most likely end up with 600mW of blue. MAYBE. After it's actually produced.

Don't go around bragging with laser that you'd want to have, it maybe turns out not true what you are saying ;)

No hard feelings intended to you, I didn't know how to sum up my point so my post might seem a bit harsh, sorry for that.

You see what I am trying to tell you?

Yes.

I'm actually I'm very angry at WL because they ceep delaying the damn laser a billion times. Hopefully it will put out about 900mw when it finaly arrives.

Knowing them, the diode might as well be directly connected to the 18650 battery, which will put it in the IIIb area , and a grave after that.

Don't get your hopes up too high, they themselves do not know what are they doing.

LOL, you are so right!
When i first heard about wickedlasers I thought that they where as good as Dragonlasers or laserglow. Now they only remind me of Dealextreme.

Except the prices (on anything beside 445nm).
Quality and customer support has always been questionable in their case.

Recently they started working hard towards high-quality-company status, but Steve promised us something then broke the promise , about some projector donation to the forum for member to test out the diodes, for free. Nothing happened. Their reputation is falling in my eyes.

I just hope that they simply refund every single body , who purchased the Arctic, and not sell it.
Bunch of people running around with Watt lasers will ruin the hobby, as stated by many members here.

well, the 2500mW IR laser is the strongest, but IR is boring lol. and very dangerous at those levels in a handheld

in that line of lasers, their 100mW version has exactly the same description
"Newest, most powerful(100mw) green laser pointer in the market "
they could at least try rofl

Actually Bill had some IRs with 4W c-mounts and stuff, and he also planned to actually make 25W diode minibar into a handheld portable.
