I'm getting $300 for a week a bunch of dog walking (im 15). I may spend it on lasers, may not. Any suggestions for lasers? May want a yellow or something, but <5mW seems worthless.

I say go with a bigger green, less than 5mW of yellow (which is horribly unstable) would be pretty useless like you say. You could also try going with an open can red for 300mW of red, that wouldn't cost you much with the current GB going on.

They're novelty, for hobbyists there is no true advantage because nearly all of them are <5mW. They are still cool though.

I say go with an X125 and ask for the most powerful one in stock, jamilm9 got one that peaked over 150mW by asking that.

Can someone point me towards some HeNes? Are any portable?

you could also get an ArIon, now thats way cooler than a HeNe
