The 532nm green assuming it is actually 200mW real power .By Using the calculator of perceived brightness for the beam it says the green will be 2.39 x brighter than a 1.2 watt blue .

Ok thanks!
How far do you think this 200mW 532nm can shoot?
And how would these both compare to a 100mW 532nm?

The green will have a nice thin strong beam and very bright spot.
The blue will have a thick strong beam and a rectangular spot, that's not as bright as the green but still bright.

Overall these are very bright lasers but are very different.

The green will travel very far and have nice divergence

The blue will not travel as hp far but be a great burner with all that power.

So green , bright spot thin beam
Blue , thick strong beam, lots of power

I still can't decide...
Both are really cool, but I guess the green one is safest...

I'd like to buy a 30mW green laser for a friend so I need to order my laser and his on the same site, because a don't want to buy shipping twice.
So... 2W blue vs 200mW green??

If you want to have it visually impressive dot go green

Burning and thick light saber beam go blue.

I'm not going to pick for you lol

OK... And is there a big difference between 100mW and 200mW 532nm for beam brightness?

Yes there is at least for me but it also depends where you are going to use it. At a clear night shining to the sky both will appear really bright but shining them in a room the beam of the 200mW will appear stronger.

However if you have the money I would also go for the suggested 2.4W+ blue one. This will outperform the 200mW greenie under all circumstates. But if safety comes first better go with the greenie. This is still very bright but not that dangerous like a 2.4W blue in hands of a noob.

The 2.4W is too expansive but I can afford the 1.9W blue. But will it outperform the 200mW green too?

:shhh:Technically both light from the lasers will travel for infinity or until enough particles stop the light, you will not be able to see it past a certain distance, but the light is still there.

Yes I know that ;) Was just asking how far can you still see the dot if you shoot on an object...
