I contacted this guy asking him how confident he is that they are 200mw. i said i dont want to buy them and have them be 50mw. i told him i have a lpm so i will know.

He got back to me 10 hours later saying the real output is 200mw so with that i ordered 2 i though might give me the best chance. there are not the 301 or 303 host so i have no idea what to expect. i have nothing to lose and if there are only 20-50 mw ill give them to friends. watch it be 50mw of green and 150mw of IR. that would be bad

I bought the one for $19.91 and the one for $9.46

Expect 150mW at the absolute best, with at least 30% IR. Not much of a risk though, given the price.

The threads I've started about green lasers are of the exact same one you linked to. BTW, it's definitely not 200 mW.

Mine isn't, at least. Maybe yours will be, you never know with these damn china lasers lol. It's got a nice thin beam though, visible if you take it out at night and turn 'er on.

It's got very nice quality, I'll give them that much. Nice sturdy host (with external heat sync fins), warning label, clicky switch and adjustable focus. Don't expect much from the adjustable focus, but at least it's something.

I disliked the seller's shipping. Now, I live in Canada... BUT, that's no excuse for taking over 30 days to arrive with first class shipping.

Not a terrible laser however obviously not the best. I guess I'd recommend it

While I'm a newbie to lasers, I have spent some time on CCTV cameras. Cameras that see at night using IR LEDs have a part called an LDR (light dependent resistor) and an IR Cut Filter which blocks IR light from coming through so it doesn't think it's daylight at night. They're small but should be plenty larger than your beam. If you don't have any to take apart, they're a dime a dozen at any swap meet. It's highlighted in the red circle.

The black holder is typically just rubber so you can pop the IR Cut Filter with a toothpick or small screwdriver w/o having to desolder anything.

Subbed for curiosity. Some of those hosts look really nice and I'd like to see what comes of this.

looks like ill get them saturday so ill report my finding Sunday night :)

I will lol if they are 200mw IR included. if its 200mw of green only i will buy like 20 more :D but i give that a .000000000000000000000001% chance.

My guess is they will be like the 301 lasers with 50-80mw of 532nm and 20mw of ir.

Im My experience those filters in that picture are hit or miss most don't really block enough of the IR to matter.
