Understandable laserbee. I am at work ATM and I just happens to find it while shopping on their site. But I thought some members may already have a power supply and cooling unit or possibly be able to put together one.

My main reason for posting it is because I did not see this tube posted anywheres else so I figured I'd bring it to everyone's attention.

I thought longer tubes had lower divergence?
And CO2 tubes are cool. That wavelength gets absorbed by nearly anything, even water.

I like my 10w 808 fiber laser tho.. quite a bit smaller :)

Im not familiar with ir lasers at all. I couldn't say.

I just thought id share my findings :p

Btw arayn, that tube you posted looks similar if not exactly the same as the one i posted.

I wonder if they are made by the same company.

I've never ordered lasers from unitednuclear but I have ordered labware before. Everything I ordered was extremely well packaged, very high quality, and shipped quickly as well. I highly recommend this website for all mad scientest (and conventional scienest) needs. Compared to ebay their lasers are a bit more expensive but the quality is likely far superior to the chinese made tubes you commonly see on ebay.

I've always wanted one of these, since I found United Nuclear a few years ago. Even before I was into lasers. :p
