Its a very good laser why dis-assemble it? You would probably need to break this too open it anyway and trying too extract the diodes from the aixiz could break the diode very easy.

You can do what you want ofc but im just telling you what to do if you want the diode too work for along time.

The laser is already broken and he want to remove the diode without breaking the host. Probably replace it with a new diode.

Like I've said, the laser is unusable. I accidentally reflected the beam right into the laser (where the beam comes out from) meaning it burnt something...

The red diode is toasted. It must be replaced. It happens to me twice. :)

Im not going too attempt this but you could unscrew the focus feature fully and try too pull it out with pliers and see what you can do.. or breaking it open would be your best bet.

Ok! I'll try that, thanks :) It unscrews to a certain point then stops, hard.
