I need to get some 612nm

It's actually much more impressive in person.

I imagine the HeCd is as well

How do you like that yellow you got from "Thierry (DXS)"?

I ended up buying the other one... I just couldn't pass it up!! ;D ;D

Mine does 5mW on my meter!! But, my meter isn't very accurate in low ranges, as 5mW is the first 'line' on the scale. But, it goes from 0 all the way to the line

I liked it so much that I gave DXS back a great deal on a 25ML and PSU. The one that has been written about in alt.lasers (with the cracked thermal switch) was from me. I was going crazy trying to figure out what could have happened to it between here and there to make it stop working. Luckily Thierry is a genius and was unwilling to give up easily. It is now lasing along merrily, with six lines at idle :)

dave

I turned mine into a pointer... just for fun... haha. I only left it that way for a day or so, then a put it back on my shelf as a lasb laser, where it belongs.

The dot looks really dim here because the flash on the camera drowned it out... it really is bright!

Argon and yellow HeNe go so well together

My argon seems to get more than six lines, as can be seen in this 1 minute exposure + fog pic

"Lines" refers to the number of colors shown.  You diffraction grating is giving you more than one "reflection" of each "color line."  My Lasos also shows two reflections of some of the color lines.  However, the number of color lines is not doubled.

You've been around here long enough to understand the fallacy of that statement.
