Re: Too Funny for Words

Well then......

$1300 is a bit much, Lase and I should get into a dollar bidding war, perhaps i'll offer him $31:crackup:

Look a bit like the one I traded to Timelablasers for a few bare tubes. A pretty cool little pointer and I do remember seeing them in the Edmunds catalog when I was young and wanting one. Alas I guess the price just hasn't gone down in 20 years.

Maybe he's concerned that customs won't let it in?

Maybe Australia has an embargo on Australian-made products ?

Re: Too Funny for Words

Is the seller for real?...or is he just having a go at pulling our legs? He must be pulling something
Maybe HeNe lasers are an awesome investment!
I think people have been taking the Mickey out of him about his ridiculous listing because ebay is not even allowing any questions to be sent to the seller.

<$100 IIRC, I sold one to Diachi for $60

What worries me is that some clueless eBay fool with $$$ might
buy it...:undecided:
Jerry

People "in the wild" have the right to be just as stupid as they desire.

(as long as they aren't harming others ;) )

Sure, if the buyer thinks its a fair price, thats entirely up to him. As long as the laser is sold as advertised, i see nothing wrong with it.

OK. I edited the subject line to include the name and model. If someone does the minimum Google search, they should find this thread

Peace,
dave
