I suppose there would be some way to regulate the output. HIMNL9 could probably lay out a circuit to do it in 5 minutes. It would take Me a bit longer. LOL

I have used a few flybacks to power HeNe's, and They provide plenty of juice! Did not use a monitor flyback, but TVs I think They might have a bit more umph. Actually it's a bit scary at 1st because the voltage is very high, and I just had them laying on the bench.

Hak You could use a flyback for the tube you have with no PS.

Hmmm. Thanks james1095, I will heed your advice. I don't wanna accidentally destroy any of my HeNe tubes. It is indeed some intense ionizing voltage and it wouldn't take much to zzzzap one of 'em. I think I'll just stick to the brick PS. :lol
