" The 373 is ~210 pounds "

but the parts I want will be much less.closer to 35/40#s maybe. two boxes lots of bubble wrap--no challange.

Dave can you tell me if the 373 has round head Ar or a box style??
thnx hak.

As I said, I haven't harvested one of the 373's. However, this picture:

Shows that the PSU is a single-plug, Cyonics PSU. That would lead me to surmise that the laser is a box-type something like this. That may be it, down in the bottom corner

The cylinder-type JDSU lasers use the two plug system similar to this one

Peace,

Thanks Dave I did search and found that same photo..

The seller has less than 3 hours( its 4:18 pm Central right now) and the fact that they have not already declined gives me hope that they will go for my 100$ OFFER-- My lil brother lives only 30 miles from them-- I have a lpf friend or two near him that may lend a hand unloading and removing the good bits. As I have never removed a Argon from anything other than a shipping box I have no idea if aside from the laser there is anything of value in there.

in any case the leftovers will be sent to recycle and not end up in a landfill.

are there any useful optics in there-- maybe I need to shoot Ben a PM iirc he has been inside a few of these.

I will post what I hear back from seller--I will prolly not make a higher offer so anyone else thinking about that can know that maybe anything over $ 100 MAY GET ACCEPTED.

thankx again Dave and LK

The 377 and the 3700 both have cylindrical types in them. This one appears to have a box type.

My offer of $100 got no reply.

the listing has 21+ DAYS left on it, so if anyone wants to take a shot-- GL. The item is located about 30 miles from Chicago. I may have gotten a acceptance if the listing was down to the last few days.

please post here if you are making an offer. The seller has 48 hrs to accept or decline or as in my case do nothing.
