I need to get some HeNe connectors. I believe they are called "Alden"--?? Big two pin side-by-side wonders.
Where does one find these ?

I have received several requests to provide these connectors to others.

I am sorry. I cannot (nor will not) supply all of you.

These connectors are still commercially available here

Dave -- Thanks for the connectors. The coaxial HV wire is nice too.
I will try to get the green HeNe running this PM.

I got the Alden connector from Dave today. The Green HeNe tube I got from ebay is 18.5" long. I have machined the housing, centering collars, spacers and end caps so now I will assemble it.
Thanks again to Dave.....

OLD FART ?? :thanks: I'll take that as a compliment

Dave -- I started with 50 k Ohm ballast and it buzzed and flickered so I increased to 100 K Ohms and everything stabelized. I'm going to measure the current before final assembly.

Yeah. That big a green tube probably needs at least 78K
