Xbox diode?

Hey would there be a good diode in the original xbox if so what kind would it be?

it would be a <5mw red and a similar IR one. just like any dvd player. It wouldn't be any brighter than a dollar store laser pointer I'd think.

You need something capable of *burning* dvds if you want a higher powered red.
