So I was thinking to make one of these

http://http://www.thehomesecuritysuperstore.com/flashlight-stun-guns-zaplight-stun-gun-flashlight-1m-zapl-p=2287

into a laser.
Is there any reason no one here has done this?
cause if some one was selling a host like that I'd be ordering now!

Any one have one these cause I would like to know how much room there is with all the stun-gun electronics.

sorry if this is a little plain and bland of a post, I just really like this idea :p

any thoughts would be appreciated!

Ah, another 1-million-volt taser, with the electrodes far less than i meter ..... :p

Yes, for sure ..... especially considering that 3 million volts can do a 3 meters long arc .....

Yah I looked at that one ^^
just didnt like the look and wanted size

BTW I was not looking for like a super high quality stun gun, just a simple cheap one :)
or I would just head for a real T.A.S.E.R.
They already have a laser in the X26c model that could be replaced, just I'm not interested enough to drop nearly $1000 to modify something.....
thanks for the help guys

HIMNL9 you need to look into electric arcs a little more, now I'm not saying the specs on that stun gun are correct, because for the price I'm sure it's way off,
but with much less voltage than that you can make a literal 100' arc.......

High Voltage Arcs Page

Edit
Scroll down to the: MPEG of a 500 kV disconnect switch, one phase opens hot!
500 kV Air Break switch

and a smaller arc gap can be made with much much more voltage.
Arc gaps are dependent on much more than voltage, even though voltage is one of the main aspects of a arc, its not all that there is to it.

Not trying to like prove you wrong or anything,
Just trying to help inform you and others that may read this post in the future

^ LOL, i know, but i was talking abbout air breakdown voltage, that is approximatively 1 million volt per meter (at least, with standard humidity, pressure and temperatures ..... totally dry air in lab can reach 3 millions volt per meter breakdown voltage :p)

This means that a "3 millions volt" stud-gun can START a 3 meters long arc from zero (and kill the user, too, btw :p :D) ..... those other arcs are really awesome, but are started to much less distances, and then maintained from "conductive channels" produced from the ionization of the arc itself ..... in these cases, arcs can go much more longer ..... just take as example some "jacobs ladders" where the upper arc, when stop, is 10 or 20 times more large than the "starting" arc at the bottom ..... the one at the bottom is the arc that can be produced from this voltage, the one that climb til the extinguishing point can last only for the ionized air conductive channel, but can never start at that distance from zero .....

Yah.. Um. There is two contacts there so the current flow can run into the + so, no. the user will not be shocked. jacob latters owrk off rising heat and yes form creating a plasma out of the air around it by causing the air to, it's self ionize aroud the arc and so on. yah I did all the high yoltage stuff while ago back with fly backs and larger coils and caps :p
