Thanks for the reply, but I have tried everything to re align it, it seems like the IR diode has gone dimmer.

It is not worth your time to repair it. Learn from your mistake and buy a good one next time.

FrothyChimp, my browser is being kinda buggy right now, I tried to ADD reputation to your post mentioning Mark Csele's site, I used it as a reference when I built my first laser, a TEA. If someone could +rep FC for me, I'd surely appreciate it!
