Looks cool. But, really it doesn't appear to have enough mass to act as a heat-sink for a laser build.
Probably wouldn't work very well as a laser host. :undecided:
Right now, I'm trying to use this flashlight as a laser host. It already has cooling fins and (sort of) looks like a mini-arctic. :san:

Nice! Cheaper too! I just thought it would be cool using something like a 10440 and a PHR or something to that affect. I like the other one too though.

or like an underpowered 6-12x so that it produces less heat, I.E. less of a need for a large heat-sink........I think?

Yeah, I don't think a 6x or higher, set at a low current and powered by a 10440 would produce that much heat that you couldn't use the first host.
It's really a slick looking host, although with the flashlight having an outer diameter of 15mm, an aixiz module (12mm diam) may be a close fit. I may get one and try it out.

Hey,
I own that flashlight, and you won't be able to get an aixiz module into it unfortunately.

Thanks for the info (+1Rep).
You just saved me $13. I'll drop that right into the LPF donation box. :bday:
