Am I missing something on the specs of the EU-37?

It only goes to 200 Ma....

I assume that the Photodiode is not required to make this work as well.

If it requires input from a photodiode, I guess a fixed value resistor could be used in it's place..

200 Ma Max current just seems way too low to me.

Size seems to be it's biggest plus.

Anyone???

Well actually with Daedal's help, I believe the common pin on our GB diodes goes to the cathode of the laser diode. So unfortunately it looks like the EU-37 is out of the question. Man, I am glad you asked because it prompted me to go back and look at the spec sheet.

The EU-38 on the other hand would still work with the GB diodes.

Anything going on with a group buy on the driver boards? Also... how long will the diodes last without any kind of driver board?

I am currently offering a Voltage/Current regulator that accepts input from 9V all the way up to 30V and allows you to control the output voltage and current via 2 pots.

It's available for $25 shipped at http://pay.lasingpix.com/gpay-drivers.html

Thanx;

Very nice, Daedal! I think I might have to buy one to power my group buy diodes instead of building the circuit myself (I suck at soldering, LOL).

Do you have any pics of an assembled unit?
