I am declining heatsink orders this week and previous one, so I can clear out time to get these done. First two are going to the people who payed for tooling, Daguin and RBC.
LOL, "great one". Flattered, but, don't call me that
Me too, they should be taken and sent when the host's done, I'll have my dad do that ASAP, also I should personally inspect the functionality when I get home before shipping it off, making sure all the components fit as I planned for them, batteries fit, threads are right and everything.
Heh I dunno, but I do seem to see some interest, regardless I'm making these available.
It might be a good idea just to post who is STILL interested in buying any. First two that are made, as I said, go to daguin and RBC, how many more should I plan on making?
Apparently these aren't THAT difficult to make as expected, they actually take bit less time than Phobos, even though they're larger they are actually simpler, fewer steps needed.
I will only need to widen the 14mm DX switch port for about half milimeter, and that's about it. I have tried and seen that the standard 16mm board will fit normally into the socket (needs to be pressed in there very hard, didn't do this on this host yet), there's quite enough room for wiring, and any module. Also, square drivers will fit into the top part of the driver section, here:
Official production time is 3 days for each host (technically 3 afternoons because of dad's job).
Now, since both Daguin and RBC payed for tooling in equal parts, could you two guys communicate and agree on which of you is the first to recieve their host? I have a new bulk order from Blord to make before the second host, he already payed for it so I'm obligated to prioritize it.
Let me know what you think. I'm also welcome on any ideas.
