What I don't quite get is why this fellow would want to utilize a relatively expensive, energy-intensive and very difficult to direct and control, high-power (necessary for shielded products without a direct electrical connection) EMP generator to knock out a laptop?
Why not use the relatively easy to control, inexpensive, highly-specific, highly-effective, highly directional, kinetic energy powered device known as the hammer? Being a new guy, I must have missed something.
I don't believe this! What has been going on here? Have I really become that addicted to lasers that I have spent all my time on this forum reading up about lasers that I have missed this thread up until now!? I have missed all the fun and now he has gone!:cryyy:
I must be turning into a real Geek!
Just a guess here. There is a lot of "info" on the net about
the Tesla magnetic "weapon" I have read some of it and I
can't understand scalar waves. Many people try but without
the energy needed --- I think - maybe like you know.
HMike
I grasp "scalar fields", at least in a general conceptual Higgs-fieldsy sort of way. But "scalar waves". Dunno...I suspect you may not EVER be able to have enough energy to make them.
Though I think the original poster was more under the influence of "Strawberry Fields" (old guy, Beatles joke) than scalar fields. But then what do I know?
if you want to build a legit EMP find a US patent on google, theres probably one for building a nuclear bomb too, or read on wikipedia what a basic EMP does and how it operates and the rest just use your imagination and knowledge of science. Sorry i am not being helpful, I know you wont do any of that you are too lazy to understand that this is a laser forum that only specializes at shining lasers at airplanes and police helicopters, not building EMPs
