Must have missed it, but what was the final tweak to get it from 1138 to 1275mW?

I messed around the pots alittle more.:) I was able to Hit 1043mA.;)

THis diode in here though is a Freak. I have 3 Freak 445nm diodes that i got recently. One of them does at 1.8A over 2W with the Aixiz Lens.:shhh:

We will leave it at that untill my next 445nm Review.

The one i have in here does ~1.5W at 1250mA.

The A130 that came with my arctic only did ~1W at 1A.

damn, you have alot better luck than me, I can't get past 1.4W at 1.4A with all of mine

More or less Yes.:) As well as changing out the diode with a A140 but its not necessary.;) The only problem is getting to it without damaging anything in the process.

I also have a extremely High efficiency Freak diode in here so that is why the power is so High.

With a normal 445nm diode you will be getting more ~1W.

Still a big improvement from the stock ~750mW.

:)

I want to keep my diode, and the driver set to 1.2A or 1A to have 1W.

So you want to keep the Stock A-130 in.? Also the max you can get out of the driver is ~1A.

Most like 970mA Max.

With the Stock A-130 diode in i was getting ~1W.

is that a donation thing for LPF in your sig? if not that's pretty rude having that on this site. I think you should have a donate for LPF button, or not have one at all.

Assuming that donation button is for your site, and NOT LPF

Iam Not so Sure you can do this with the G1. It might have a totally different driver in it.

This mod will only work with the G2. In the G1, the driver is directly soldered to the battery contact spring assembly. You cannot just pull it out like with the G2 (which is attached by wiring).

Peace,

I just disassembly my Arctic, which of the 2 pots to turn?

Please Note like i stated in the OP That if you do this its your decision. If you damage anything and break your laser its on you.

Well. First you need to disconnect the diode from the driver. Then connect the driver to your test load. Set it to use 4 diodes.

Then Turn on the laser and put it in High Mode.

Then Slowly turn and alternate between the 2 pots. You also have to balance/tweak them perfect in order to get the max output.:)

If you have a G1 Do Not Attempt this.

Thanks for the clarification.:) I was also pretty sure it cannot be done on the G1.

Make sure to hook it up to a testload.!!! As well as when you go to hook the diode back up to remove the battery out of the laser Rub the 2 leads together to short out any capacitors on the board.

Do you have a LPM.?

Please post a Picture of the currant that you get. Iam interested to see what you will get.
