Re: i need guide for LG 4x BR burner extraction wh
Well, then I can't really help you right now, in fact I don't think I can help you since I don't know a lot about blurays. Much less bluray burners. Sorry, have you asked Dr. Lava, I believe he got his diode from the same burner you have.
Re: i need guide for LG 4x BR burner extraction wh
Hi, if you aren't experienced extracting diodes from burners, when it arrives, stop. put it away, and extract some from $25 20x drives. I practiced on 10 other burners and broke 3 in the process early on.
So, practice makes perfect, that's the story here.
the BRLD is the didoe all by itself under the heatsink.
Re: i need guide for LG 4x BR burner extraction wh
so BRLD is the only diode i will see on the LG 4x BR burner drive, right? actually i already build a an open can red laser from LG DVD 20x burner drive and working quite well im using it fo a month now. then if it was the only diode there's no problem right?
Re: i need guide for LG 4x BR burner extraction wh
Adgmeijin, I think I'll have to agree with Dr. Lava on this one. Slow down a little. You just finished building your first red laser. Harvest more diodes out of burners and gain more experience. And look, do some research, read the threads about the bluray burners. I just did a little read the other day and IT"S NOT THAT HARD. It just looks like you don't have a lot of experience and you ask too many questions. Read, and please stop posting on other threads asking people to help you. Just like Gazoo said, there aren't a lot of people with knowledge of the bluray burners, so far it's only jayrob, Dr. Lava, and Hemlock Mike.
Just, lay down on the coffee, ok. ;D
Re: i need guide for LG 4x BR burner extraction wh
ok chido thanks, will do! any way this is my home made host for the bluray burner.. i will use 3 pcs. of 3.6v RCR123A for that and a DDL style driver for that. as you can see its already design for push button switching, and the little thing you see in the top is a fabricated collimator, drilled and aligned exactly as the aixiz collimator, and fit exactly on my host.
