Lead lengths between NDB7A75 and driver board?

Hi, I bought an NDB7A75 with G2 lens in a big heat sink, intended for continuous operation for CNC carving and cutting. The problem is, the leads between the NDB7A75 and the driver board are about 100mm long, and the driver board is hanging around and getting in the way. I'd like to extend the length of wires going to the NDB7A75 to about 1000mm. Would this have any negative effect? First thing that comes to mind is interference coming off the wires onto my other wires in the loom.
