Laser open; what now?

Hello everyone! (I'm new @ this forum)

I wanted to pot mod my 30mW laser. Today I finally managed to open my laser, but now I've got a little problem. In the tutorial video I saw that the circuit board just slipped right out, but with my laser I could only see the lens on the upper end. Here I've got a picture to show you what I mean (see the attachment I've posted with it)

I hope you guys can help me out, because I really want a burning laser (without paying too much for it). Thanks!

It's just like opening a new toy to find that everything inside the box is encased in plastic and requires scissors to open every part, lol. that part is just the glued on lens. the module that comes out of it will require a really good amount of force to get out. My ledshoppe 50mw was hell getting out. Someone else might have better ghetto-means of getting it out

Oh forgot you said pot mod too...don't do it. I've broken 2 of that style and its not worth it. they are already set to max. you can turn it higher but it will last about 10-15 minutes if your lucky before it dies completely.

The pot-modding thing made me think of family guy...

"We can rebuild him. We have the technology. But I don't want to spend a lot of money..."
