Custom Battery Holder (Pics!)

Well I "had" two GameBoy Colors and I had the urge to tinker with something tonight I pulled apart a clear purple one I got for a few bucks at a garage sale a few years back. At first I tried messing around with the headphone plug and the speaker included but that didn't go so well. But I didn't have a battery holder and this had one built in and with a cover! So I used a Rotozip to cut the general shape out, a table grinder to smooth the cuts and had at it with two coats of black spray paint and some very fine steel wool. The result is that I now have a Two AA holder with a cover and long lead wires! Enough rambling, here are the pictures.

Before you ask, it is supposed to say 305V.

With every dollar I can save the better though! And this has a nice cover that closes it up and gives it a nice look.

I wouldhave kept the gameboy.

Well I still have one GameBoy, One GameBoy Pocket, One Limited Edition Gameboy Color, One GameBoy Advance, One GameBoy SP, One GameBoy Micro, One GameBoy DS Lite, One N64 GameBoy Adapter, and Two Super GameBoys.
So I wasn't too worried about it. All I'm missing is a regular DS and the Adapter for Gamecube but I can just take my neighbor's Gamecube one.

Well it started a while ago and I figured I might as well get one of each! ;D
