At least this seller doesn't fleece you on the shipping as some sellers do but it will still be quite steep.......

If you do buy from him be aware that the first comunication from him will be in german, but when It gets to the important bits he will use english ;)

Including P&P to the UK it was around $40 so not cheap. But I felt that if I want to learn more about my new hobby I had to try one out.

Remember though if you are taking part in the blue LD GB you will end up with a few useful optics, including a couple of cube beam splitters......combiners :)

Re: Combining Green and Red laser beams for Yellow

i was looking at the green aixiz 5-10mw laser modules that they sell, and was wondering if they would be appropriate for combining with a 16x dvd burner LD to create yellow. can anyone tell me or refer me to somewhere that explains how i can imagine the brightness of different colors with different power outputs? for instance, i know you can light matches with the 250mw out red lasers, but a green laser of that power isnt even remotely in my price range. how bright are the 5mw's? can you see the beam in daylight?

thanks,
-arne
