Wytry:

Could you identify it by eye, and put the dots into the Excel spreadsheet?

I tried to take a picture in some M104 that I got from DTR but it was a lot of crap on the pins.
But here is a tip how you can use your mobile to take pictures close up :yh:
( Many of us have this lenses laying around, or just take one out of your laser )

I post som frehand pics in media in a while!

Well, i suppose we see a pattern emerging in that, at least for the 330#### series of codes. I wonder what the exact point is between the A and M series, as it doesnt seem to be exactly 3303### vs 3304###... but we should be able to narrow that down.

It seems very curious that the A series have serials with 1209, 1108 too. Perhaps they changed the numbering scheme at some point, especially since all diodes in one projector were 1-series. Question remains if there is any performance difference between the 1108, 1209 and 3303 series.

I was surprised to see no posts since 3/12
This is an excellent effort to gain information about the diodes. May I suggest looking at other diodes including BDR's etc to maybe gain insight into coding information/ coding patterns. I think those LD's have more complex images.

You sell 445's as well. Do you have a decent camera to grab some codes?

Here are two BR diodes but normally my pictures are not good enough to decode.

I can take some pics, yes. Do you need the BDR photos, as well as some M series 445? I have just A and M. I did not leap to H yest but with higher qty array I'm considering it. I will liekly hld off with info revealed in A vs M thread here. Just curious what is the 14X? More power than BDR? You can decode those barcodes, right.
Nice pics!

14x:
3,006,752,861

S06J:
1,107,808,929

BTW - I'm quite certain that these numbers are purely serials. So a BDR from N1chia and a BDR from S@NY are going to have potentially quite different numbering schemes with no relation to each other.

Here is a H140 diode. Not the best photo. Taken on USB microscope by Intel. Sorry, phot needs to be flipped to get orrientation you guys are using.

I have the remainder of the diodes from the array that bobhaha's diodes are from. Would you like pics of those, too?
