Another day another build to make me feel better:
cake for anyone who guesses what it is (not a NES controller) not a laser either so possibly wrong section...

also I destroyed my CCD with a 130mW BR today so sorry for that...

the 'A/B' buttons look like diodes. Is it a laser?

Then I read it not a laser...lol

I have no idea.

well the CCD bit is right- give you a clue buttons are LEDs which light up when its plugged in- but which one lights up depends on how its plugged in....

OK its 2X USB memory sticks- both mirror each other- essentially portable RAID. It connects to USB and the 2 buttons are the activity indicators!

The second port is retractable on the buttons edge side!

Pics reveal all:

yeah- the LEDs were the hardest- as I wanted them to blink with activity.... Otherwise just literally take out the old put in new... solder USB cable to the chip.. done!

Oh LEDs are 5mm LEDs in LED holder in a rubber grommet.

I think it is a 2x Flash USB memory stick, with two USB ports and raid0 capability. Cake, please!

Nice build :tinfoil:
