Well LG also offers a Galileo with adjustable beam alignment... so they may not be quite as forgiving for that issue

ArcTan(4/120)=1.9 , So that is a 1.9 degree angle away from where it should be.

Haha that makes it sound so trivial: "Dear LaserGlow, my laser sucks because it's 1.9 degrees off of the housing, out of a 360 degree total"

EDIT: This isn't supposed to be offensive in any way. And yes, 1.91 is correct

Well I would restrict the possibilities to less than 90 degrees out of 360. So 45 degrees either way? Still, it is nothing to shrug off. It isn't as bad as say 5%, but it is still off.

True, but LG HAS a Galileo option that has adjustable beam alignment... so I'm not sure if they'd be so willing to replace his Galileo

LaserGlow replied. They said that 2 degrees was acceptable.

Another problem is that the dot from the taurus has a smaller dot next to it. I expected better from laserglow...:(

The dot isn't noticeable at long distances. Might be a problem with some of the beam reflecting on the metal inside.

The galileo peaks at 5.2mw and the taurus peaks at 4.8mw. Pretty good!

On the picture I posted, I'm talking about the smaller dot above the main one.

I'll try to get a picture of the beam once it gets dark.
