Be my guest and order away - a fool and his money are soon parted - no offense, of course ! Those lasers - not from THAT company, but THOSE LASERS have been purchased before by manay folks, and they are all crap - like for instance that rcr123 powered one that looks like a tiny Laserglow Aries (my apologies, Justin) was rated at 250mw last time I saw it, and barely put out 80mw. Total garbage, most likely from alibaba - correct ? Sorr to throw down the smack down on this post, but they are 100% garbage, and a waste of money....although I DID find a nice site where bridges can be leased if anyone is interested ?

Senkat you're right ... i ended up with my search on alibaba ... thats where i looked up the companies offering their stuff on that page....
so i tried to look up their website and get in touch with them.
First and only one who answered were Yagoon. I wasn't going to buy one from there anyway but i thought maybe they would be kind enough to send a sample to a mod or so to do a review :) .. maybe i'll try to get one off of them.

I'll keep u updated.

p.s.: will it be fine if i write to them on behalf of LPF ?

Kingdingaling - you are most definitely welcome to ask for a sample on behalf of LPF, BUT....(always a "But" isn't there ? LOL !!) take it from someone who has done most likely close to a MILLION (no exageration, I assure you !) emails to companies such as that - you will not get a sample, unless you purchase it, expect to be charged a HUGE amount for shipping, you must use a wire transfer (depending on your bank, maybe $20 JUST for that !), and disapointment reigns supreme in that majority of the cases with Alibaba. I was all set to go - orderring aluminum cases, just like Nova offers - and I was actually setup to MAKE some money for a change off of all of you (hehehehehe) and I was going to offer them for $12.00 each case - until they hit me with the WHAMMY - for 100 cases, the freight charge would have been $1100.00....JUST for shipping ! And that was most definitely NOT a fast means of transport, either. Alibabe is great to get ideas, but impractical at best. I am not saying don't do it - after all, misery LOVES company, and trust me, it can be a miserable experience dealing with some of the folks from that site.

Sorry for the babbling, but most of the leads on Alibaba are dead ends at best.

Depends a bit on how they mark it then. If they promise 250 mW and you get 80, its quite dissapointing... but as long as they sell them with proper power ratings, it's not always a bad deal.

Unfortunately, the chinese seem very bad a properly rating power or capacity on anything, so beware ;)

At the Laserglow office we actually have some of these exact lasers sitting around gathering dust. We purchased them as samples, just to see what the level of quality was like, and the answer is: we'll never sell them. Like SenKat said, these things are mostly garbage dressed up to look like more reputable lasers. If you want to buy the crappy samples that we still have I can arrange it, but I wouldn't recommend it or stand by these lasers whatsoever. In my opinion these samples should just sit and gather dust until they biodegrade but if you want to clear up some closet space here I'd be happy to unload them.

That small module has a pressure switch for mounting to a firearm
of some kind. The coil cord and switch are not a safety device.

Yagoo, huh? They don't use PayPal? Western Union only? What this means is when your laser dies in your hand you will NOT get your money back. My advice is get ahold of Justin's dust-gatherers and raid the parts to make your own. You will get a better product.
