$60? Well, keep in mind you could probably expect to pay a in the 3 figures for an equivalent through Newport or someplace if they offered one. Then again, that ball tripod looks pretty crappy .

I have a table vice I purchased from Sears and it has the rubber pieces that covers the clamps. When I need to, I put my Nova in it so it also clamps down on the switch...very convenient.. ;) And it doesn't take much pressure to hold it in place.

Yea, but that one doesn't look like it can be directed in certain directions like WL's one. But still, $60!?!? One guy on the LC said he got a tripod exactly like that at the airport for $4. I saw one at radioshack for $10.

Idea (should start a poll...)
Does Wicked Lasers inflate their prices based off of the average number of Wicked Bucks people have?

^That's the only good excuse for charging that much that I can think of.

Here's my other bracket for telescope mounting and it's extremely well engineered costing £25 not $60 for a flimsy piece of crap!!!!!!!!

60 Bucks is indeed quite over the top
The concept however is good. I have a tripod myself, not one like that but quite similar ( cost 15 euro ). Now my tripod is very good quality and does it's job perfectly. However attatching one or 2 off my lasers on it is always a crappy bussiness involving peaces off cloth and rubberbands. So i really could use one off these, even 2 for that matter. However i am not keen on dropping 60 bucks for one + probably whatever shipping costs there are, 60 bucks for 2 that i might pay but for 1 c'mon.
At the Time Lord: Were did u get u'r mount if i may ask?
Anyhow, great concept, but way overpriced

Yeah i was considering that to Andy since i have some wicked bucks laying around, but i rather spend them on a core or an extra pair off safety goggles.

Thanks for quick reply timelord ;)

Edit: it's a petty it's a uk based store. Evrything in dollars is quite a bit cheaper for us Europeans these days with 1 euro being about 1 dollar 40 cents ;D

Actually what you can do is purchase a Dremel clamp, the older version. The clamp is rubber padded so you dont have to worry about damaging your laser. It's also got an axial movement, better than this IMO.
