www.wickedlasers.com

Probably the largest high powered laser pointer company on the internet.

I found them a pleasure to deal with and Steve(customer service) is only too willing to help if there are problems.

I have had technical issues with a couple of Wicked lasers but they were responsive in replacing those units that were faulty ::)

Right now my 95mW WL Nexus is outputting above spec :)

I am holding off buying any more lasers right now to see what's in the pipe line from not only Wicked but all the other laser companies!!!!

The customer service at wicked seems to be unmatched by anyone else, I bought my first high power laser from wicked, it was back when they were just modded leadlights, it was a great laser, and would not hesitate to buy from wicked again. Only reason I bought from DL is simply because that was the only way I could afford a 95mw.

dont delete this thread, that would be too unbiased ::)

my experience was not all that great, and if a laser ever breaks you have to pay return shipping all the way to china, which is like 30 bucks

the pulsar series is also very screwy at the moment, you might want to hold off on buying a pulsar untill it is confirmed that all the issues are fixed, unless you want to mod it yourslef and mess up the warrenty.

a lot have purchased spyders over a couple of months ago, and none hae recieved them yet. they say its a new model update and its takeing longer than expected, i hope thats the case, because those that purchsed are completelyin wickeds hands, as paypal automatically denies any claims because these lasers are "illegal products" and are not covered by paypals buyer protection services.

the greens are also in transition from the cni case that dragonlasers sells, to a pulsar like case. it has good divergence, but wont burn without a lens now, i have also heard of many problems with the new case, perhaps wait awhile till the kinks are worked out...

personally i dont think a well collminated fat unburning beam is worth the extra cash, but to each his own. and if you say, "its the service you pay for" well tehn, i must not have got what i paid for 2 times.

all this is my own opinion, others post there experience this is why this forum is considered "unbiased"

they are not illegal lasers! they are OEM which means wicked has found loop hole in the system. they are sold as OEM and are meant to be put into something else. and the reason wicked is starting a transition into their new stlye of cases is because the divergnce on cni lasers suck! they are still able to do tricks it s just you have to do them at a greater distance. which is pretty cool in my opinion. also and paypal doesnt automatically deniy it. i ordered from paypal and received my laser perfectly fine. may be your pay pal isnt working or something? jk jk :p

paypal will deny all claims filed against wicked immedeatly is what i ment. this will hold true to other companies who dont sell fda approved lasers.

useing them as a laser pointer, which is what most pepole do is illegal, if its not put in another device, you are not useing it as a OEM laser, therefore it is illegal. you cannot do all tricks at a great distance, and pheonixes will have no chance at lighting matches at any distance, nexuses most likely are the same, and fusions might, but it is very unlikely, you will most likely need a lens.

soo what you are saying is that any laser that doesnt have fda apporved stickers they cant be shipped in? then why would it be ok to get one from DL? WL is just a outsourcing from CNI. DL is almost a direct manufacturer from CNI. and if that is soo no one should have a high powered pen style unit? your logic makes no sense. and if you use any laser pointer it is considered ILLEGAL! like if you shine 1mW red into a car that is illegal. or we could just say anyone who doesnt have coommon sense should never own or operate a laser.

shineing a laser above 5mW into any airspace, especially bravo and charlie airspace is a big no no, and since most lasers can reach into those airspaces fairly easily and most of the states is at least covered in charlie airspace and crowded areas are usually always covered in bravo airspace, well if there is a airport. sheez woont get into it..

pointing 5mW and up into the sky is pretty much illegal, will you get cought, most likely not, could you? most likely not. but still.

lasers that arnt fda approved cant be imported, that is why wicked marks it as a 7 dollar pen, there is a reason behind that, and it is illegal, but they are in china, so laws dont apply there ovioulsy, the same with dragonlasers.

lasers under 4.99mW are class IIIa lasers, they dont need shutters, keys, running lights... so they are not illegal, but class IIIb, 5mW and up, must shitters keys lights etc...
the sticekr is required on all lasers, the sticker does not make it legal, the saftey features do. that is why laserglow and optronics lasers have keys and shutters etc...

I think Wicked Lasers are probably the best guys to deal with because when you buy a laser its usually not a one off purchase. It seems more like an ongoing shop/customer relationship so getting good service is an absolute must. Wicked Lasers do things like ship out a brand new laser if your 1st package gets intercepted by Customs (now thats service!). They will also be pretty reasonable when it comes to warranty issues, and when you compare the same product from people like Dragonlasers, its an awsome deal!

While Dragonlasers had EXCELENT prices for a few weeks, they have the worlds dodgiest replacement/refund policy. The lasers bought at the sale price wont be replaced - you will get a refund, but it costs $40 in shipping fee's ($20 to originally ship the laser to yourself, and another $20 to return it to Dragonlasers). Add this ontop of the fact that you now have to pay more money to get the same laser, and pay AGAIN for shipping. So after thinking you got a good deal, you have payed $40 in shipping for the 1st laser, then you had shell out a little bit more to make up the difference to get the SAME laser, and the once AGAIN, ship the laser to yourself. It works out to be more than $60 in shipping fee's and you still have to count the price increase depending on what model you bought. Im not saying that Dragonlasers sell dodgy products, (ive had to send a Wicked back, once), but they really need a kick up the butt in the Customer Service area - its little things like this that keep me a loyal Wicked Customer

(IM NOT DOING THIS FOR SLANDER, I JUST THINK THAT AN UN-BIAS FORUM WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE REAL STORY) Dont listen to Tommygreen23 - He has had a major falling out with the Wicked people and his opinions are probably tainted. The reason paypal doesent accept his payment is he is now BLACKLISTED from doing ANY business with Wicked (at least this is my understanding of the situation) He said there is little-no chance of a Pheonix (75mw) lighting a match.....which is grade A crap! My Wicked 55mw can light a match without a lens and many other people have reported being able to do it with ones as low as a 35mw! And you are confusing people! Wicked lasers are OEM, meaning that they are UNMODIFIED. This means that they are exempt from the laws regarding modifying lasers. Pretty much, if your normal laser pointers are illegal then any laser pointer is illegal. In most places it is MODIFIED lasers that have restrictions placed by the state.

And no, I do not work for Wicked, advertise for them or have anything to do with them other than being a really satisfied customer.

I just bought a 150mw Laser pointer and it wont burn anything. I've tried matches, electrical tape, bags.....just the regularly shown items that burn. I get no results. I have even put it on myself and,....NOTHING doesn't even get warm. Do these need to be modified or have to warm up?
The laser itself ROCKS!!!! aweosme display of light from it day or night ..

is it a pulsar? or did you get it off of ebay? if its a pulsar you need to focus it, if you got it on ebay, your SOL because ebay lasers are cheap and are never as strong as they are supposed to be.

yes, if you got the 150 from ebay, then return it asap!

if you got it from Wicked Lasers, then its not a Green pointer. because they only go up to 125mW
and that only leaves one left, and that is a Pulsar(red pointer) and if it isnt stingiong your skin or een getting warm. then tell steve immediatly and he will fix you up.

150mW is alot of power and should do alot of things. in which you are saying doesnt.
