My experience with wicked was great and i know other veteran members of this forum who would agree ill probably get bashed for this but I don't care my only problem with them is their price for the amount of dough it costs to get a 1.25w 445nm you could have 2 user builds although chances are they don't have the kind of duty cycle you get with the s3 arctic I've run mine continuously for 10 minutes before any heat was detected if your ok with the price and you want one that's your prerogative more power to you. That being said their laser goggles suck. I'm gonna see if Danefex will check the output of my s3 on his lpm if its underspec then ill post the results other than that I've had a good experience

My two experiences with Wicked were great. Maybe that's cause they weren't directly with Wicked, cause they were group buys. The Evo pro group buy and the left over Titan's from Techlaser (Wicked owns Techlasers) sale.

My experience with WL was a Freakin' Fiasco...

Lies upon lies and no "in stock" product shipped
for over a month before I got fed up with their
BS and cancelled my order...

I still have a sour taste in my mouth from the
ordeal and would not recommend buying any
of their blatantly Underspec and Overpriced
Lasers..

i have seen many people that hate WL but others like them. the problem is you are taking a chance if you order from them... i have heard shipping could be 6 months, some members might have waited longer idk. but your whole process could also be good. i personally like their hosts but they are way over priced $100 extra for 250mw more. many members have some very nice hosts on hand though w/ a heatsink combo or JAD kit and some make their own custom ones and sell them. i probably would not suggest them as i see more people w/ bad experiences than good w/ them.

If I had to go through the nightmare that was wicked lasers back when they were first bombarded with orders I would have to agree with jerry there's horror stories across the net not just here at lpf I took a gamble and I'm still rolling the dice until I verify the power output on a laser I paid 400$ for but as far as my experience with them whether I got lucky or not, it was good overall

My purchase with WL was actually not too bad.. After hearing the bad experiences that other members have had I was apprehensive about goin' for a 1000$ "krypton" Yeah its over priced but the gamble for a close to 1 Watt green laser was worth it for me. Could not find any other site that sold such a laser (don't think there is).

The first unit I received had some issues, terrible divergence, dirty lens, and output was only 840mW (still overspec from what they advertise i.e. 750mW) Anyways I contacted their support and with a quick response and really no questions asked I shipped it back to their distributor in America. And within two weeks I received a way better unit with a near 1 Watt output, better divergence and cleaner lens..

P.S I do like their Spyder host, the safety feature is kind of annoying (with all the clicks and holds) but seems very solid, with great heat dissipation (never had any issues with over heating even after five minutes of continuous use) and I love the changeable lens caps they offer, the line, cross and galaxy caps are sweet.

The hulk ultra from dragon would be better for the money but the s3 host is awesome no doubt I don't mind the smart switch either. You could put a dent in an attackers forehead with the s3 and then proceed to blind them I screwed the tail cap too tight and when I went to unscrew it I cut the palm of my hand. If tom hanks had a s3 krypton the movie castaway would have been quite short

Not sure about that I assume the IR filter is on the interior of the lens (for how much I paid it better be), I know my LPM form laserbee reads a MAX out put of 990mW...
